Browse, decompress, move and copy without opening multiple explorer windows. A context-menu extension that is always waiting for you right underneath your right mouse-button.

ShellGEM 1.51

ShellGEM is a free utility that adds a very neat productivity item to your current Win95/98 shell-menu.

Through this single item you have access to the complete directory tree of your computer. Open any file or folder - they are only a click away.

There are also file-management functions built in. Through a user-interface similar to the one you see above you can move and copy files and folders. You can extract ZIP, RAR, and JAR archives. And you can create shortcuts wherever you like.

All this by dragging and dropping the files onto a drive or folder. This drive/folder then becomes the root item of the menu tree. Start here and browse your way to your target folder and select it. The operation is then performed without the need to go through dozens of explorer windows.

Simple! Elegant! Quick!
